Alabama Music Office.com goes to Legends Steakhouse in downtown Florence, Alabama to attend a performance by Charles Rose & Friends for W.C. Handy Festival 2013. Charles Rose friends are Bob Wray and Mitch Rigel.

Charles Rose began as part of the Fame Gang, a loose knit group of session musicians who worked under the direction of Rick Hall at Fame Recording studio, the Muscle Shoals Horns soon earned their separate identity by performing on many recordings made at a variety of studios in the Muscle Shoals area. - See more at: http://www.alabamamusicoffice.com/artists-a-z/r/1644-rose-charles#sthash.yBTwzM32.dpuf

Bob Wray has played countless sessions in both Muscle Shoals and Nashville including recordings with Ray Charles, Joe Cocker, Al Green, Etta James and Randy Crawford, Bob was FAME Studios' third house bassist, replacing the legendary David Hood after he left to form Muscle Shoals Studios.

Most remember Mitch Rigel as drummer for The Rossington Band. He has played on many recording sessions and has played with some of the best bands in the Southeast.
