Audiences have been laughing with Kacey Jones for decades and laughing right along with them are People Magazine, USA Today, GAC & CMT Television, and Garrison Keillor and "A Prairie Home Companion." "Donald Trump's Hair," is the hilarious follow-up to her previous album, "Nipples to the Wind" and contains fifteen tracks including "Christmas in Rehab," "I Can Always Get Skinny But You'll Never Be Tall," and "Whatever Happened to Kenny Rogers Face."

"I'm a singer-songwriter-musician first," says Jones, "I enjoy making people laugh in the tradition of musical humorists such as Tom Lehrer, Mae West, Roger Miller, Kinky Friedman, Dan Hicks, Jerry Reed, and Sophie Tucker." I also enjoy a good ballad...that's why I recorded a tribute to Mickey Newbury." ("Kacey Jones Sings Mickey Newbury" IGO Records, 2006). Jones' interpretation of Newbury's beautiful, melancholy songs achieved critical acclaim worldwide. She even enlisted Newbury's close friend, Kris Kristofferson, to play a cameo role in her music video,"San Francisco Mabel Joy."

Hope Cassity and Jeff Dayton at Frank Brown International Songwriter's Festival 2013

Alabama Music Office.com goes to Alabama's Gulf Coast to attend Frank Brown International Songwriter's Festival 2013. Hope Cassity and Jeff Dayton entertained at Lulu's in Gulf Shores, Alabama to an enthused audience.

A native of Monroeville, Alabama the town that sparked "To Kill A Mockingbird" Pulitzer prize winner Harper Lee's creative writing, it's no wonder Hope Cassity's vivid imagery turned to songs by age 15.
Recently, Cassity was selected out of thousands of artists across the southeast to front the cover of the nationwide publication Regional Musician Magazine under the header "Burning up the Road Miles" with the editor stating to Hope "You are one of the hardest working women in the industry."
Her drive and hard work is definitely paying off. This year the popular indie duo Penny Rae (most often compared to Civil Wars) released a song Hope wrote titled "Closure" as the featured single from their newest record. The video is currently airing alongside the likes of Jason Aldean and Lady Antebellum hit videos on 40 plus tv networks nationwide.
The twice nominated Dallas Best Female Vocalist had her emotional ballad about her grandmother's battle with cancer titled "50 Years" featured in the International "Stand UP to Cancer" Campaign that has support from A-list celebrities. Additionally, "Sweet Southern Sun" featured Grammy Award winning fiddle player Glen Duncan and was chosen in the Top 25 for the Nashville Music CIty Songwriter competition.
Cassity was amidst the top 10 finalists in a nationwide songwriter search "Songwriter Serenade among many other notables such as several sold out shows this year and an increasing number of supporting spots for major artists. Cassity has been the recipient of multiple regional awards/recognitions including reaching number 4 on the Reverb Nation charts.
Currently, Hope's latest single release "Partly You" that features Jason Wyatt (The Lost Trailers) has been playing in radio rotation across the nation and creating a buzz that is steadily getting louder as it surrounds this artist/ songwriter.

From the White House to the Wildhorse Saloon, Jeff Dayton has been playing guitar and performing all his life. He's been a Nashville writer for over a decade and thrives on the concentrated creative scene in Music City. His hometown roots in Minnesota and years in Arizona earned him a music degree, regional hit records and the honor of backing artists like Vince Gill, Buck Owens, Bo Diddley, Dizzy Gillespie, Willie Nelson, Gene Autry, Toby Keith and many more.

Today, Jeff is an active Nashville music producer, songwriter, session guitarist, touring artist and educator. He tours as a dynamic solo artist too.
